Leslie Hill (she/they) (pronounced lez-lee) has worked in various roles associated with the cancer system since 1991. A graduate of Dalhousie University Halifax, and Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga, Australia, they have worked as Medical Laboratory Technologist, a Medical Scientist, and an Adjunct Professor of Diagnostic Cytology within Canada and Australia. Leslie is the Engagement and Diversity Lead with the NSH Cancer Care Program since 2014 and is passionate about including meaningful patient and community input into healthcare and cancer system improvements. She is married with two adult children, has a starter “retirement kit” of four cats, and is involved in the Scottish Gaelic speaking community in Nova Scotia.
